Sew and Craft for the Baby
About this Workshop:
If you want to make unique, personal items for little ones already in your life or arriving soon, then this is the day for you. This workshop is for prospective mums, those with young children, those with grandchildren (or ones on the way) or people who want to create for the babies of their friends and family.
You will sew four gift items:
• A bib (optionally with a personalised letter or symbol)
• Toy/ hanging mobile blocks (tactile with bell and patchwork colour)
• Bunting for bedroom / door decoration
The one day workshop will develop your sewing skills. We will learn to cut booties to a pattern, patchwork techniques on the blocks, applique on the bibs and using biased binding on the bunting. Items can be as colourful as you like so get creative!
To take part in the course you should be able to thread the sewing machine and have some basic sewing skills. The workshop is suitable for sewers who are relatively new to sewing and will extend your skills.
Please Note - If you have a group who would like to do this workshop as a baby shower event, please email to discuss a private date.
